A clear purpose
We build website tools around the moments that matter to a visitor: reading a paragraph, finding the next link, keeping their place, and understanding what a page says. The controls should be understandable, reversible, and close at hand.
AbleBrowse brings those visitor choices together with website settings and a feedback workflow. It is designed to complement accessible content and ongoing testing, with a clear description of what the tools can and cannot do.
The principles behind the product
- Choice belongs to the visitor. People can combine settings, keep their preferences, or reset the experience.
- Useful defaults come first. Readable text and usable navigation belong in the website itself.
- Capabilities should be visible. The actual toolbar is installed on this website so you can use it as you explore.
- Limitations should be understandable. Browser-dependent features explain their availability, and software is not presented as a substitute for every kind of accessibility work.
- Feedback should reach someone. Reports are stored for the website owner to review.
